The 
Amateur Radio Explorer Posts’s goal is to have youth members achieve the amateur radio license and to upgrade to their potential. Along with that goal, it will also promote community service, emergency service and the understating of radio electronics within its activities. It will also engage in program activities centered on career opportunities, life skills, citizenship, character education and leadership experience.

Boy Scout Centennial Camporee at the Barnstable Fairgrounds Explorer Post Special Event Station.
The Cape Cod Amateur Radio Explorer Post is took part in the Centennial Camporee at the Barnstable County Fairgrounds in East Falmouth, MA. The Explorer Post operated an amateur radio Special Event station on May 22, 2010 operating on the 20 meter band at 14.315 MHz from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
We made a total of 186 contacts thought the contrary, Europe and Hawaii. Thank you to all the stations that participated.
